“A Conversation with Under Secretary Paul Dabbar”
You, or a representative of your company, are invited to attend a panel discussion and reception sponsored by the Energy Technology and Environmental Business Association, (ETEBA), the Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI), and the Energy Facility Contractors Group (EFCOG). Our special guests will be Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, Caucus Chairman; Rep. Ben Lujan, Co-Chairman; and members of the Nuclear Cleanup Caucus of the U. S. House of Representatives.
This event will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11th, 2018 in Rooms 2043/2044 of the Rayburn Office Building, Washington, D.C. The program will include a conversation with Under Secretary for Science Dabbar, followed by a reception hosted by ETEBA, NEI and EFCOG.
The conversation with Under Secretary Dabbar will explore the recent restructuring within DOE that positioned the Office of Environmental Management within the Office of Science. The discussion will focus on how this new structure will impact environmental management, and how the scientific and technical capabilities and expertise in the DOE laboratories will be accessed to address the environmental challenges that DOE faces across the complex.
This event coincides with Energy Communities Alliance Conference in Washington, D.C. on April 12th. Both are popular events, so make your travel arrangements as soon as possible.
