Susan Stiger has more than 35 years experience in the energy and environmental industries, primarily managing major projects and operations in nuclear facilities, waste management and environmental remediation. She led the environmental cleanup programs at the Idaho National Laboratory, the Los Alamos National Laboratory, and at Rocky Flats. She has also held senior positions on DOE projects at Oak Ridge and Hanford. Currently, Susan provides operations oversight and strategic formulation for Bechtel National’s Department of Energy sector and serves as a senior corporate representative with DOE-HQ. Her experience directing complex technical projects in challenging political and regulatory environments has led to a focus on turning troubled projects and organizations into successful operations.
Ms. Stiger has been involved with EFCOG since 2004 and currently chairs the EM policy group. She holds an SB degree in Civil Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
