Robert Miklos, PMP/SCPM has over 30 years of experience in disciplined operations of nuclear facilities include hot cells,
waste handling treatment and processing capabilities ,nonnuclear facilities, start-up and testing, integrated safety
management, used fuel handling, fuel processing ,TRU waste and mixed waste projects and project management. He led
establishment of the INL Project Management Office which included implementation of laboratory-wide tailored project management systems, including DOE Order 413 implementation and EVM certification strategy. He is currently the Director of Production Facilities & Treatment Storage and Disposal Facilities (TSDFs) with line management responsibilities for safe and
efficient operations, maintenance and project activities within multiple Nuclear and Radiological facilities including Fuel Condition Facility (FCF), TSDF, INL Idaho Nuclear Technology and Engineering Center (INTEC) facilities and operations of the new Remote Handled Low Level Waste Disposal Facility (RHLLW), currently undergoing Nuclear Facility Start up activities.
Prior to joining the INL community, he gained 18 years of large-scale commercial construction, capital asset projects and DOD construction, overhaul and refueling, defueling and decommissioning experience when employed by Newport News Shipbuilding and its subsidiary company, Newport News Reactor Services.
He is chair of the Energy Facilities Contractors Group (EFCOG) Project Delivery Working Group (PMWG), EFCOG INL Executive Council Member, undergraduate Degrees in engineering from Pennsylvania State University and Old Dominion University, a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and Stanford University Certified Project Manager
