Description
The EFCOG Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) Subgroup was chartered January 2021 to assist member companies attain and maintain excellence in all aspects of SCRM within DOE contractor organizations and for vendor and suppliers of DOE contractors. The subgroup consists of representatives from EM, NNSA, and non-NNSA laboratories and also includes key vendors that are members of EFCOG. The group meets monthly to share and exchange information relevant to supply chain risk. This includes discussions on new policies and guidance, best practices, lessons learned, resources, and recommendations for improvement. The subgroup in 2021 led the effort to collect benchmarking information across the DOE complex, obtain vendor perspective on SCRM, and collected information from other non-DOE organizations on SCRM programs and processes.
